Electronics Repair Technician – Data Center Operations
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Technician to support on-site hardware repair and maintenance for data center operations in the United States. This role focuses on hands-on diagnostics, circuit-level repair, and component replacement to ensure stable and efficient operation of mining hardware.
The position is ideal for candidates with a strong electronics background who enjoy working in a fast-paced, hardware-intensive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hands-on diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of mining hardware using professional electronic testing tools.
Inspect and troubleshoot key components, including hash boards, power supply units (PSUs), and control boards.
Conduct circuit-level repairs using soldering and SMT techniques; replace faulty components and restore hardware to operational standards.
Track and manage spare parts and repair materials to reduce equipment downtime.
Troubleshoot complex or recurring hardware issues and document repair procedures and best practices.
Maintain accurate service records, including fault descriptions, root cause analysis, repair actions, and parts used.
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to support reliable day-to-day hardware performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Hardware, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
At least 3 years of practical experience in electronics repair, hardware maintenance, or similar technical roles.
Strong ability to read circuit diagrams and perform component-level troubleshooting.
Proficient with electronic repair tools such as soldering irons, hot air rework stations, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based, on-site environment and communicate repair status clearly.
Work Location & Travel
This role is U.S.-based and primarily supports domestic data center operations.
Occasional travel may be required based on operational needs.
