Position Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Affiliate Account Manager to drive the success and growth of Athena’s Affiliates Program. Reporting directly to the COO, this role combines account management, commercial development, and contract execution, ensuring affiliate partners are supported while identifying opportunities to expand partnerships and increase revenue. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and fluent in both English and Spanish, capable of building trust, negotiating agreements, upselling services, and maximizing partner performance across diverse markets.
Key Responsibilities
Affiliate Relationship & Growth
Act as the main point of contact for assigned affiliate partners.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with affiliates to drive retention and loyalty.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase affiliate revenue.
Develop account plans that align with both affiliate goals and Athena’s business objectives.
Affiliate Acquisition & Onboarding
Support the acquisition of new affiliates through presentations, consultations, and onboarding.
Guide new partners through the full setup process (compliance, installation, support).
Collaborate with Marketing to generate leads and create affiliate-facing campaigns.
Commercial, Contracts & Performance Management
Negotiate affiliate agreements, including terms, pricing, renewals, and performance commitments.
Ensure accurate and timely execution of contracts in coordination with legal and compliance teams.
Monitor affiliate KPIs and revenue performance, providing actionable insights.
Deliver quarterly business reviews and growth recommendations.
Track pipeline, forecasts, and commercial results in the CRM.
Represent Athena Bitcoin at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
3 to 5+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, or commercial B2B sales (fintech, payments, or ATM services a plus).
Demonstrated success in growing revenue within existing accounts.
Strong interpersonal, contract negotiation, and presentation skills.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze KPIs and optimize performance.
Familiarity with compliance-driven industries; crypto/financial services experience preferred.
Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and events.
