Operations Analyst (Fasanara Digital Team) Onsite, Full Time NEW

Fasanara Digital is the crypto division of Fasanara Capital, a London-headquartered, FCA-authorised investment firm managing $5bn in fintech strategies. Our digital asset arm oversees over 350m in assets and operates one of the most established, market-neutral digital funds globally – Genesis Alpha – focused on high-frequency, delta-neutral trading strategies with daily turnover exceeding 5x AUM.

We are seeking a Junior operations analyst to join our trading operations team. This is a highly hands-on role working directly with portfolio managers and technology, with exposure to the full trade lifecycle in a fast-paced, high-growth crypto environment. The ideal candidate is early in their career, ambitious, and ready to build a strong foundation in trading operations by working hard, learning fast, and taking ownership from day one.

You will report directly to the Head of Operations and be part of a small, high-performing team responsible for settlement, reconciliation, and post-trade processes across multiple counterparties and platforms. The role requires strong attention to detail, reliability under pressure, and a proactive attitude. Overnight and occasional weekend work will be expected as crypto is a 24/7 market.

Responsibilities:

Liaise with counterparties for daily settlements, confirmations, and other trading-related communications
Collaborate with technology teams to enhance settlement processes, system functionality, and automation initiatives
Monitor and manage collateral requirementsacross exchanges, trading venues, and loan agreements including handling margin calls.
Maintenance and development of automated collateral management system
Handling Transfer travel rule requirements, whitelisting endeavours and linking new collateral pathways
Maintenance and development of data visualization platforms (e.g Grafana, other proprietary)
Oversee, support and troubleshoot asset transfers, funding flows, and trade settlements across multiple platforms
Support, Improve and troubleshoot the reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Support the Monthly NAV process in collaboration with greater ops team.
Work closely with internal teams (legal, compliance, management) on operational queries
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Collaborate with greater ops team to handle payments and other adhoc requests.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of professional experience in operations, trading support, settlements or related fields
Direct experience in a relevant environment such as:
Financial institutions (custodians, broker-dealers, prime brokers, asset managers)
Crypto firms (OTC desks, exchanges, custodians, trading platforms)
Startups or early-stage companies where you wore multiple hats
Understanding of settlement flows, trade lifecycle, and post-trade processes
BSc degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to self-manage, prioritize under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines
Willingness to work hard, periodic overnight calls and occasional weekends in a 24/7 market environment
Given the firm’s technical focus, those applying must have some degree of coding skills in either SQL or Python to enhance process efficiency and automation
Demonstrated passion for crypto, digital assets, or financial markets (crypto experience strongly preferred)
Standard office hours, in-person in office 4 days a week
Must have right to work in UK, no sponsorship
