Our Legal team safeguards CoinDCX’s legal interests, navigating the complex regulatory landscape of the blockchain industry with expertise and foresight. You need to be a HODLer of these
10 to 15 years of experience in coordinating/ working with law enforcement. Prior experience in legal, compliance, or a related field will be of added advantage.
Extensive experience in managing disputes and litigation.
5+ years of experience working directly with law enforcement agencies.
Excellent ability to communicate effectively in English and Hindi, both verbally and in writing.
Flexibility to work as a part of a fast paced team, including attending meetings outside business hours.
Familiarity with the Indian Judicial System and the Indian Penal Code (IPC), especially laws (e.g. s.69A, IT Act and related rules), disclosure of user data (e.g. s.91, CrPC) and Personal Data Protection on intermediary platforms.
Ability to work and to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with high-volume workflows, high-pressure escalations, grey areas and ambiguity.
Experience with accurately reviewing, processing and summarising request from Indian authorities.
Ability and readiness to work off hours, including weekends and holiday
Willing to travel extensively.
Strong analytical skills, including working with large data sets to solve business problems, and providing practical business insights via data visualisation software.
You will be mining through these tasks
Coordination, liaison and maintain good relationship with law enforcement agencies (LEA).
Ensuring that law enforcement and regulatory requests/requisitions are accurately replied, reviewed, Indexed and advised on in accordance with applicable law.
Own and manage disputes and litigation.
Provide evidence/ statements to law enforcement authorities.
Providing regular feedback to Internal teams regarding the interaction with authorities, areas of concern for LEAs, cybercrime trends and learnings from disputes & litigation.
Develop a strategic program for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with national and state law enforcement agencies, regulators, and industry leaders.
Advise cross-functional teams on matters of user grievances, redressal program, and process improvements to improve user experience and internal efficiencies.
Collaborate with relevant teams to support response to government inquiries or user grievances or any other dispute.
Educate law enforcement agencies on CoinDCX’s terms and policies, and on effectively using tools and processes to report violations and make legal/emergency requests.
Represent CoinDCX at conferences and meetings organised by law enforcement/ government agencies.
