Responsibilities and Duties

Job Description :

• Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as material purchases, inventory and labor

• Analyzing data collected and recording results

• Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database

• Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, reimbursement and other overhead expenses)

• Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of material and operations costs)

• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies

• Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)

• Making estimates of new and proposed PROJECT costs

• Analyze and report profit margins

• Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts

• Assisting in month-end and year-end closing

• Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions

• Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports

• Maintaining Cost Accounting System

• Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Desired Candidate

• 3 – 4 Years work experience, Experience in IT Company will be an added advantage

• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role

• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures

• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Experience with accounting software & TALLY

• Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular

• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail

• Strong time management skills

• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information

• Ability to lead end to end execution of new projects

• Stakeholder relationship management

• Good communication and presentation skills
