Product Sales Specialist/ Product Sales/ Sales/ Network & Security Sales
Sales Specialist: Revenue generation by selling (Network & Security, IT Infra Services etc) in Government & PSU market segment. Must understand competition and develop appropriate winning sales strategies to apply sales and solution expertise mostly in conjunction with partners.
Role would be assigned to specific opportunities where they possess the sales and technical expertise required to conduct all phases of the sales cycle.
A self-starter, takes ownership & run business independently, this position requires a deep thinker who can come up with new out of box ideas as the market space is competitive and requires innovative approach to win customers. Demonstrated excellence in implementing and delivering, hardware, services, solutions for various industry verticals like Government, PSUs BFSI, and so on.
Research and contact prospective new customers for products, solutions and services. Proactively prospect, create opportunities & interact with senior management level in the geography. Establish new relationships by researching, adding and developing new contacts. Map out the key players for potential new business initiatives and determine/document appropriate sales strategy.
Understanding customers’ specific IT/business pain points and applying solution knowledge to address those pain points. Analyzing customer needs in terms of current business pain points, identifying opportunities and scoping potential. Effectively advise and influence the customers especially in addressing the business needs and creation of an ROI framework.
Front face with the customers, work with presales to generate customer RFP/RFI proposal development, pricing documents, customer reviews, issues handling, negotiations and deal closure. Assist with processing and closing order paperwork. Develop a successful working relationship with the company project, product development, presales and delivery teams so that successful hand offs can take place and problems/issues can be proactively identified and solved.
Search new tenders through various sources
Review of tenders, identify requirements & creating BOM
Coordinating with OEM for the documentation for the tender & better pricing for the tender.
Coordinating with Technical and Procurement team for tender compliances and price.
Prepare Technical Bid and Commercial Bid independently, with necessary guidance provided
Preparing all tender documents and complete all process of tender biding.
Attending pre bid meeting for tender related query.
Handling of queries of clients through telephone and emails.
Managing accounts for clients & build a relationship for future prospects.
Good team player with high confidence level to lead nominated accounts without the need for a lot of supervision

Establishment and effective use of internal and external relationships
Gathering and understanding of client’s network & security infrastructure pain points and mapping solution features to address it.
Analysing business requirements to develop technical network & security solutions
Designing and managing rollout of critical network & security infrastructures in customer environment including POC, testing and deployment (complete solution lifecycle)
Providing technical expertise to Product Development team to develop new product strategies and enhancing existing product sets by building technology roadmaps Writing functional requirements/specifications documents.
Preferably CCIE or Juniper Palo Alto, F-5 certified professional will also be considered or equivalent with 3-6 years of network & security design & integration experience
Deep understanding of L2 & L3 protocol stack Extensive knowledge on Data Center Networks and security products.
Strong knowledge of Data Center LAN and SAN components including Servers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Storage etc.
Expertise on leading vendor switching and routing products – Cisco,HP, Juniper, F-5, Palo Alto, Riverbed, Info Blocks etc.
Deep understanding of role of virtualization at every stage of a modern Data Center network Able to develop conceptual, logical, and physical network designs Able to design, build and operate network configuration prototypes
Skills : Cisco, HP, Juniper, F5, Riverbed, Infoblox & Citrix, Cisco, Juniper, Check Point, Palo Alto, Symentc, Sophos, Array.
Candidate must have worked in Govt. sales starting from Specifications, Registration to tender finalization.
Deep knowledge in the process of tendering process in State, Central Ministries & PSU
