We’re currently seeking a Journalist with a strong editorial instinct and a deep understanding of the crypto industry to craft compelling stories that inform and engage our audience for our media, Cryptowave Indonesia. Responsibilities:
Research and write daily news articles, in-depth features, and market analysis related to cryptocurrency, blockchain, DeFi, NFTs, and Web3.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and regulatory updates in the crypto space.
Conduct interviews with industry leaders, developers, and founders.
Fact-check information and ensure journalistic accuracy and credibility.
Collaborate with editors, designers, and SEO specialists to optimize content for readability and reach.
Pitch and develop original story ideas that provide value to readers.
Maintain a consistent and professional voice aligned with our brand.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a journalist, reporter, or content writer.
Strong knowledge of the crypto industry.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Ability to explain complex topics in a clear and engaging way.
Experience with interviewing, fact-checking, and sourcing reliable information.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital publishing.
Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently.
Willing to work on-site at our office in Kapas Krampung, Surabaya, with a night shift schedule from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
