About the Role
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio in web and app experiences. You will be responsible for creating the design of TOKEN2049’s digital products, ensuring exceptional usability, accessibility, and brand consistency across all touch points.
We’re looking for someone with a sharp eye and strong intuition for human-centred design: someone who loves shaping digital experiences that feel effortless, look great, and work even better.
Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end UI/UX strategy and execution for all of our digital experiences – across web, mobile, ticketing, partner platforms, etc.
Define what great looks like at every user touchpoint, balancing brand, usability, and business goals with technical realities.
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to bring designs to life with precision – and advocate for thoughtful, scalable UI solutions.
Lead user research, competitive analysis, and UI/UX experimentation to inform decisions and iterate with confidence.
Craft everything from low-fidelity wireframes to polished, interactive prototypes that align with real-world use cases.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sponsorships, and Creative to unify storytelling across campaigns, content, and commerce.
Build and scale a design system that accelerates speed, enforces consistency, and evolves with our brand and tech stack.
Stay obsessive about the future of design – from Web3 UX patterns to the intersection of AI, live events, and digital identity.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience designing intuitive, elegant web or app experiences, ideally across fast-moving, high-impact environments.
A portfolio that demonstrates not just visual polish, but systems thinking, user empathy, and measurable business impact.
Deep proficiency in Figma, with fluency in prototyping, design systems, and collaborative workflows.
Strong grasp of responsive design, accessibility principles, and UI performance optimisation.
Experience working side-by-side with front-end engineers; familiarity with Webflow or no-code platforms is a bonus.
Excellent written and verbal communication – you can explain design rationale with clarity, not jargon.
Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure – especially when juggling multiple timelines in a live event cycle.
Curiosity about emerging tech – from Web3 to AI to the future of hybrid experiences.
We move fast – and we’re building the future of events while we’re at it. If that sounds like your kind of playground, we’d love to hear from you.
